Job Description

The Wholesale Trade Manager is responsible for managing the overall wholesale trading operations, including sourcing products, maintaining supplier and customer relationships, overseeing procurement, pricing, logistics coordination, and ensuring smooth sales operations. The role focuses on achieving business growth, controlling inventory, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day wholesale trading activities including sourcing, purchasing, sales, and distribution.

Identify new business opportunities, products, and supplier partnerships to expand the company portfolio.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and trade agreements with suppliers and key customers.

Develop sales strategies, set targets, and monitor performance against business goals.

Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment.

Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, customer demand, and competitor activity.

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs documentation, and import/export policies.

Improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost.

Prepare management reports on sales performance, cost analysis, and business development activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in wholesale trade, sales, sourcing, or supply chain management.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and commercial decision-making skills.

Experience in international trade, purchasing, or import/export documentation preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/Inventory systems.
