SENIOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

The Senior Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from planning to completion
• Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and project teams
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and engineers
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and operational issues
• Review and approve project plans, drawings, and method statements
• Implement quality control procedures and ensure workmanship standards
• Prepare progress reports and present updates to senior management
• Manage risk, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation strategies
• Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 8–15 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Experience in large-scale building or infrastructure projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations (Singapore preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
