0806 Pastoral Care Officer /Yishun

Contract Period: From 1 July 2026 to 30 November 2026.

Option to extend: a further period of 10 months.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 4.00pm, inclusive of 30 minutes lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Requirements:

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and

experience: -

Bachelor of Arts / Science in Psychology / Counselling -

At least 2 years of experience working with children ages between 6 to 12

Job Scopes：

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. First responding:

a. Responds to call for help from teachers to remove student

and bring the student to pull-out location

b. Provides triaging and basic counselling for students who

flare up

c. Contact parents to provide first updates

d. Provides input to SC, SENO, DM, SDT for follow-up

2. Befriending/mentoring:

a. Befriend and mentor students at risk of re-offending

3. Other duties:

a. Manages student engagement activity hub

b. Supports after-school programmes / learning journeys for

high-needs pupils

c. Attends CMT meetings to be familiar with identified SwANs
