Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Restaurant General Cleaner to maintain a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for the deep cleaning and sanitization of all front-of-house (dining rooms, restrooms, entryways)

Key Responsibilities
🧼 Front-of-House (FOH) Maintenance
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff dining area floors; promptly clean up spills to prevent hazards.
- Restroom Sanitation: Thoroughly clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, mirrors, and counters. Restock paper towels, toilet paper, and soap dispensers throughout the shift.
- Surface Cleaning: Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, host stands, and waiting area furniture.
- Window & Glass Care: Clean interior and exterior windows, glass doors, and mirrors to ensure a smudge-free appearance.
- Waste Management: Empty all trash cans, recycling bins, and compost containers; replace liners and safely transport waste to the outdoor dumpster area.
- Equipment Care: Assist in cleaning walk-in coolers, freezers, and storage shelving according to safety protocols.
- Perform all ad hoc tasks assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Shift Supervisor to support the smooth operation of the venue.
📋 Safety & Compliance
Chemical Safety: Safely handle, mix, and store commercial cleaning chemicals according to OSHA and SDS (Safety Data Sheets) guidelines.
Inventory Tracking: Monitor cleaning supply levels (chemicals, trash bags, paper goods) and notify management when reordering is needed.
Health Standards: Ensure the restaurant strictly adheres to local health department cleanliness and sanitation regulations.
Job Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience as a cleaner, janitor, or dishwasher in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, stoop, and lift/move up.
- Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work non-traditional hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: A strong eye for cleanliness and the ability to notice areas that need extra attention.
- Teamwork: A positive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with the rest of the restaurant staff.
Working Shift - 6 days a week
