Performin Artiste Manager
Job Description
Job Description: Performing Artiste Manager (演艺经纪经理)
Location: Suntec, Singapore
Position Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Performing Artiste Manager to curate and lead the entertainment soul of our establishment. In our "Livehouse" dining concept, the quality of our performers is as vital as the quality of our food. You will be responsible for scouting, booking, and managing a roster of singers, musicians, and performers who align with our premium Chinese dining brand, ensuring every night offers a world-class auditory and visual experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Scouting & Booking: Identify and audition high-quality vocalists and musicians.
Performance Scheduling: Develop and manage the monthly performance calendar, ensuring a diverse and engaging lineup that keeps diners returning.
Artiste Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all performers, managing their contracts, performance fees, and ensuring they adhere to the restaurant’s grooming and conduct standards.
Creative Direction: Work with the Lighting & Visual Manager to develop "show sets"—matching the musical repertoire with specific lighting cues and visual backgrounds.
Rehearsal Oversight: Conduct sound checks and rehearsals to ensure performers are well-prepared and that the audio balance is optimized for a comfortable dining volume.
Ad Hoc Tasks & Operational Support
As a key member of a versatile hospitality team, your role extends beyond the stage to ensure overall business success:
Social Media Engagement: Capture "behind-the-scenes" content or "live highlights" of performers for use on TikTok, Xiaohongshu, and Instagram.
Guest Interaction: Act as a "Host" during performance sets, engaging with VIP diners to take song requests or facilitate "shout-outs" for special occasions like birthdays.
Event Support: Collaborate with the Event Operations Manager to source specialized talent (e.g., traditional Chinese instrumentalists or lion dance troupes) for corporate bookings and festive launches.
Front-of-House Assistance: During peak service transitions or intermissions, assist the floor team with guest seating or hospitality logistics to maintain a seamless atmosphere.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 years in artiste management, talent booking, or entertainment production.
Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the local and regional Chinese music scene and a strong network of freelance performers.
Technical Familiarity: Basic understanding of stage audio (mics, monitors, mixers) to communicate effectively with sound engineers.
Languages: Fluent in Mandarin. Excellence in Mandarin is essential for communicating with performers.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional "people skills" with the ability to manage creative personalities while remaining focused on business objectives.
