Senior Director, Private Equity Fund Accounting, SEA Markets

Our client is an established fund services with a strongtrack record in the region.  Theirclients are mainly alternative funds such as private equity, venture capital,private credit funds etc, and they provide a range of services such as fundaccounting, compliance, portfolio monitoring services to them.   As the business continues to grow, they arelooking for a Director/ Senior Director and the role is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

·      Develop and execute the overall business strategyfor the Southeast Asia business

·      Review the existing business to identify areas ofimprovement, how to drive revenue growth and profitability

·      Understand the market landscape to examine anddrive market expansion

·      Oversee the fund administration delivery to ensurehigh quality and client service

·      Work with different offices to identify businessopportunities and lead client acquisitions initiatives

·      Work with different offices to provide strategicfund accounting solutions to clients

·      Lead, mentor and develop high performance localteams

·      Work with the senior management on strategicplanning and execution of the business

·      Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as operationalefficiency, process optimisation etc

·      Attend industry conferences and events to keeptrack on the market and promote the firm’s branding

·      Other ad-hoc business initiatives when required

Key requirements

·      At least 15 years of Private Equity FundAccounting experience

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or otheraccounting qualification

·      Strong technical knowledge in private equity, venturecapital fund accounting / fund administration

·      Proven track record in team management andleadership skills

·      Strategic thinker with good commercial acumen

·      Strong understanding of market trends and industryinsights particularly in Southeast Asia markets

·      Strong communication and relationship managementskills

·      Motivated, positive, growth-oriented
