Our client is a well-established financial institution with a growing presence in Singapore. As it continues to expand, the organisation is looking for a Vice President, Information Technology, to lead and strengthen its local IT function.
This leadership role oversees end-to-end IT operations in Singapore, ensuring a secure, resilient and business-aligned technology environment that supports day-to-day performance and future growth.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞
As Vice President, Information Technology, you will lead the local technology function and help shape its operational and strategic direction. You will drive service excellence, governance, and continuous improvement across all IT domains.
𝑲𝒆𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒅𝒆:
- Lead day-to-day operations across infrastructure, systems and end-user support.
- Develop and maintain robust IT policies, controls and governance frameworks.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT systems, from selection and implementation to ongoing optimisation.
- Oversee IT budgeting, vendor management and resource planning.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team.
- Monitor emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to strengthen IT capabilities.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞
You are a hands-on IT leader with strong expertise in infrastructure and operations, ideally gained within the financial services industry.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant IT experience spanning IT leadership, infrastructure and system management.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, end-user computing, hardware support and software applications.
- Proven experience managing external vendors and service providers.
- Familiarity with trading and financial platforms such asBloomberg, Fidessa and Calypso.
- Knowledge of IT risk and control, as well as regulatory requirements, including MAS guidelines and frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate IT teams.
- Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin to support engagement with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
