Assistant Manager, Architecture (Building Project)

Our client is in construction industry (Grade A1 Contractor/ Class 1 General Builder) and they provide full suite of integrated construction services and solutions in both the public and private sectors.

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Plan and monitor architectural works for the design and deployment of projects. Collaborate with Structural and M&E teams to provide technical directions on design and construction. Review the architectural design from consultants and sub-contractors based on contractual and project specification requirement.
• Prepare, review and monitor architectural works schedule based on the project master schedule. Regularly provide updates through coordination meetings.
• Attend and charge regular technical meetings related to architectural works through design stage and construction stage.
• Oversee the overall planning of architectural works, site inspections, monitoring of progress of work, variation order and certification of work done for all assigned projects.
• Oversee the monitoring of site to ensure that all architectural works of the project team and sub-contractors are in compliance to the defined standards and drawings. Provide technical supports to construction& operation teams.
• Review documented technical requirements and project plan to ensure adherence to defined standards
• Support interactions between clients/employ’s representative/government agencies, consultants, sub-contractors and project team to ensure smooth delivery of work including resolution of design and construction issues
• Assist design manager/project manager/project director on following up materials, concrete body plan/architectural coordinate drawings/shop drawing preparing from our consultants and sub-contractors. Provide review and submissions to clients.

REQUIREMENT

• Possess experience in mix-development including retail/office/hotel/residential is required.
• Able to provide advice on all architectural related matters
• Able to monitor consultants’ authority submissions and provide regular updates to client & project team.
