Plant Technician / Asst Technician

Job Description

• Perform independently, plant routine preventive maintenance & servicing activities, replacement of parts for the plant and operational equipment.
• Maintenance and upkeep of plant tools, electrical and pneumatic pumps and analytical instruments.
• Load & unload waste IBCs, wash and arrange waste IBCs.
• Housekeeping of working station/area, indoors and outdoors.
• Run checks, inspections and resumefull plant operations after servicing and maintenance.
• Perform fabrication work with piping and electrical components.
• Comply with the plant’s safety regulatory requirements.
• Report and solve process and/or operational faults on site.
• Execute chemical handling activities in O&M procedures.
• Other related activities and ad-hoc duties assigned for treatment plants and related projects

Job Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC education level.
• Preferably with 1 year of relevant working experience in the related field. However, no experience required as on-the-job training provided
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of water treatment plant operations will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated, a good team player, hardworking & willing to learn.
• Able to work overtime when needed, including Sunday and PH.
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Good in time management, problem-solving, and work hands-on.
• Some physical work will be required.

• Normal working hours
  • Monday to Friday: 0830am - 1730hrs
  • Saturday: 0830hrs - 1230hrs
