Job Responsibilities:
Network Security Architecture & Operations
Design, deploy, and manage network security infrastructures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, WAFs, load balancers)
Define and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, roles and MFA configurations
Maintain and optimise next-generation firewalls (eg. Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower, Check Point)
Implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and segmentation strategies across data centres and cloud
Conduct threat modelling, vulnerability scanning and penetration testing for network and edge systems
Manage secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises networks (eg. VPN tunnels, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).
Document and maintain security configurations, procedures and audit logs
Cloud Security Architecture & Operations
Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS and Azure)
Manage hybrid and multi-cloud environments integrating on-premises systems with cloud services
Automate provisioning, scaling, and backup processes
Optimise cloud resource utilisation and costs using governance and monitoring tools
Implement network and cloud security controls including firewalls, VPNs, encryption, and identity management
Respond to and investigate security incidents and breaches in cloud environments, conduct root cause analysis, and support recovery efforts
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, threats and technologies
Provide guidance and training to internal teams on cloud security best practices
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
5+ years of experience in network administration, cloud architecture, cloud infrastructure and cloud security management
Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing, and cloud-native security tools
Strong understanding of cloud security principles, architectures and best practices
Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
Certifications preferred: CISSP, CCSP, GCP/AWS Security Specialty, CCNP Security or Fortinet NSE
Relevant certifications in cloud security and information security are highly desirable
Ability to analyse complex security issues and provide effective solutions
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication and interpersonal skills
