Overview
We are looking for an experienced Wealth Planner specialising in Ultra High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients, with a strong background in philanthropic advisory. This role is suited for a seasoned professional who brings an established client portfolio and a proven ability to deliver highly customised wealth solutions.
You will play a key role in advising affluent individuals and families on wealth preservation, legacy planning, and charitable giving, while integrating your existing client base into the firm’s platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with UHNW clients and their families
- Transition and integrate your existing client portfolio into the firm smoothly
- Develop tailored financial strategies covering investment planning, risk management, tax optimisation, and estate structuring
- Advise clients on philanthropic initiatives, including setting up foundations, endowments, and donor-advised funds
- Collaborate with internal specialists such as tax, legal, and investment teams to deliver holistic solutions
- Identify and recommend curated investment opportunities aligned with clients’ financial objectives
- Stay informed on market developments, regulatory changes, and trends in philanthropy and impact investing
- Provide ongoing portfolio reviews and strategic advice to support long-term wealth and legacy goals
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or financial planning with UHNW clients
- A strong, transferable portfolio of UHNW clients
- Demonstrated expertise in philanthropic advisory and charitable planning strategies
- In-depth knowledge of estate planning, tax structuring, and investment management
- Relevant professional certifications such as CFP, ChFC, or equivalent
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage sophisticated clients and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a high level of integrity
