Financial Markets Lead Consultant (PC / AVP / VP)

Selby Jennings is scaling its Financial Markets franchise in Singapore, and we’re hiring an experienced consultant (PC up to VP level) to drive growth across Financial Markets Sales & Trading in the remit of Institutional banks, securities & trading firms in APAC. This is a pivotal hire for the business, someone who can own a vertical, develop high-value client relationships and deliver across mid-to-senior mandates in Singapore and wider APAC. You’ll be joining a globally recognized Financial Services brand, operating at the intersection of human capital and financial markets expertise with deep specialization across sectors. Your role will be to:

• Own and scale a Financial Markets vertical (Global Markets & IB)

• Build and deepen high-value client relationships across banks, securities, and trading firms

• Deliver mid to senior-level placements, focusing on quality and long-term partnerships (not just volume)

• Drive both origination and execution, with full ownership of your P&L trajectory

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–8+ years recruitment experience within Financial Services / Financial Markets / adjacent sectors

• Strong track record of billing OR clear progression toward PC/AVP/VP level

• Commercial mindset, confident owning clients, not just working jobs

• Ability to operate in a relationship-driven, high-fee environment
