Senior Surveyor

The Senior Surveyor is responsible for surveying works during the full phases of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites are accurate.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Lead and independently manage surveying activities across all phases of the project, ensuring timely and accurate setting out, measurements and verification works.
• Review, verify and endorse survey data, calculations and site records to ensure accuracy, compliance with project requirements and readiness for construction use.
• Plan survey methodologies, establish control points, baselines and benchmarks, and resolve technical surveying issues on site with minimal supervision.
• Locate and mark sites selected for geophysical prospecting activities such as efforts to locate petroleum or other mineral products.
• Plan and conduct surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations and other geodetic measurements.
• Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients and other stakeholders at site.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.

Skills & Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Land Surveying or Geo-spatial information and technology
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction industry.
• Minimally have completed 1 cycle of building project with a project value of at least $100M.
• Possess good interpersonal skills.
