The F&B Service Executive - In Room Dining is responsible for delivering exceptional in-room dining experiences by ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to hotel guests. This role oversees the preparation, coordination, and delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms while maintaining the highest standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction. The incumbent works closely with the kitchen and Front of House teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently, handles guest requests with professionalism, and ensures all equipment, supplies, and service areas are maintained in accordance with company standards and hygiene requirements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food and beverage orders, as well as room amenities, to guest rooms in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Ensure all orders are prepared, presented, and delivered according to established service standards.
  • Verify order accuracy upon delivery and confirm guest satisfaction with products and services provided.
  • Process guest orders and billing transactions accurately using the POS system.
  • Handle cashless payment transactions efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Accurately record and communicate guest orders to the kitchen team.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Kitchen, Front Office, and Housekeeping team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information to assist guests when required.
  • Promote and upsell food and beverage items to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Ensure all guest requests and special requirements are handled efficiently and with attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to support teamwork and operational excellence.
  • Comply with all company policies, service standards, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management to support business operations.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage Service, In-Room Dining, Room Service, Restaurant, Hotel, or Hospitality operations preferred.
  • Previous experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel or upscale dining environment would be an advantage.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively.
