Job Description

The HR department is looking for an experienced, proactive and results oriented professional to join the Talent & Business Partners team as a Senior HR Business Partner.

Talent & Business Partners are responsible for delivering HR services across all Norges Bank Investment Management’s (NBIM) locations, and as a team we provide expert guidance on various HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. We serve as a bridge between HR and the business, ensuring that HR initiatives are tailored to support the overall success of the organization.

What you will do

  • Ensure effective implementation of people strategies and activities aligned with organisational priorities 
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to leadership to ensure all policies, practices, and decisions are compliant
  • Advise and help line managers on key people and organisational processes
  • Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships and work environment 
  • Support management and employees to build a desired culture 
  • Ensure effective knowledge sharing and collaboration within the HR team 
  • Contribute in strategic development projects 

What you need

  • Relevant university degree, preferably within HR
  • Minimum 10-15 year’s experience as an HR professional, preferably as a generalist
  • Knowledge of employment law
  • Experience from international organisations
  • Experience from working within financial industry is an advantage
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, and general knowledge of HR systems
  • Working proficiency in written and spoken English
