HSE Vessel Management Officer

Salary: $4,500 - $5,000 per month (Jul – Oct 2026)
Working Hours: 5 Days (8:30am - 5:30pm / 9:00am - 6:00pm / 9:30am -6:30pm)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vessel Management Officer to support the company's vessel management operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating vessel audits, inspections, certifications, and regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor vessel audits, inspections, surveys, and certification processes.
• Ensure vessels maintain compliance with applicable maritime regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Liaise with vessel masters, shipboard personnel, auditors, classification societies, flag state authorities, and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
• Track certification validity and ensure timely renewal of statutory, class, and operational certificates.
• Prepare, maintain, and update compliance records, audit reports, inspection findings, and corrective action plans.
• Follow up on audit observations, non-conformities, and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate documentation submissions and ensure all vessel records are accurate and up to date.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports and provide updates to management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, Shipping, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in vessel management, marine operations, technical management, or maritime compliance.
• Familiarity with vessel audits, inspections, statutory certifications, and maritime regulations.
• Experience liaising with classification societies, flag administrations, auditors, and vessel personnel.
• Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in ISM, ISPS, MLC, ISO, or other maritime compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to tanker, bulk carrier, container vessel, or offshore vessel management environments.
• Knowledge of marine safety and quality management systems will be advantageous.
