Senior Solutions Architect Manager, APJ Partner Core

We're looking for a senior leader to run our APJ solutions architecture team supporting AWS Partner Programs. You'll lead a team of experienced builders who work directly with our APN Programs team to design and operationalize our flagship Partner programs.

You'll inherit an established, high-performing team spread across APJ. The primary focus is building scalable, programmatic mechanisms that impact the broader Partner community across the region. The work spans flagship APN programs like MAP, AWS Specializations, and AWS Marketplace. Your team will engage 1:1 with strategic partners and handle escalations, but the real measure of success is the 1:many approaches that lift the entire Partner community.

A big part of this role is figuring out how to scale. Your team is responsible for developing agentic approaches to scale our programs and technical enablement for partners. You'll push the boundaries on how we use automation and AI to multiply our impact without multiplying headcount.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead a team of solutions architects focused on partner technical excellence across APJ
• Own the technical strategy and execution for AWS Partner Program initiatives in the region
• Design and build programmatic mechanisms that drive technical enablement and AWS adoption at scale across the partner base
• Drive partner adoption of AWS services and programs, with goals tied to overall AWS Partner Program performance
• Collaborate with your global counterparts in NAMER and EMEA to share learnings and align initiatives
• Work with the APN Program team to shape existing programs and contribute to the design of new ones
• Interface with AWS Marketplace and Partner Services teams to connect the dots across the APN landscape.
• Build a culture of innovation where your team is constantly experimenting with new ways to help partners succeed

A day in the life

You'll split your time between leading your team across APJ time zones, designing agentic workflows that scale partner enablement, and collaborating with the APN Program team to shape how flagship programs evolve. You'll sync regularly with global counterparts in NAMER and EMEA to share what's working. Most of your energy goes toward building systems that compound, though you'll occasionally engage directly with strategic partners on complex escalations. Your key stakeholders are the APN Programs team, AWS Marketplace, Partner Services, and SA leadership across APJ.

Basic qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
