How will this help you grow

The Product team is hiring a Business Analyst Intern to support feature execution and gain hands-on exposure to how payment processing works behind the scenes. This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn how company priorities translate into effective day-to-day operations and how early-stage ideas evolve into future-growth initiatives. Working closely with other Business Analysts and the wider team, you will help maintain cross-functional alignment of goals and execution while building a strong foundation in product analysis and the payments industry.

What you will be learning

Initiative Execution

  • Support the team in shaping and delivering high-value product increments in alignment with the larger Portfolio Management plan (PFM).
  • Feature Definition & Prioritization: With guidance from the team members, help define and elaborate on Features and Stories, including acceptance criteria, that realize capabilities from the program backlog, learning how to assess whether work is technically viable and delivers appropriate business value.
  • Market Alignment: Build an understanding of the current financial and payment processing landscape, including how a transaction moves through the system behind the scenes.
  • Team Support: With the mentor’s guidance, help the team maintain a clear understanding of the ‘why’ behind the work during iteration planning and daily interactions.
  • Internal & External Collaboration: Participate in conversations with internal and external stakeholders (including legal, risk, and compliance) to learn how information needs are analyzed and functional requirements are defined and break down into executable tasks.
  • Roadmap Contribution: Assist the team in refining the overall product roadmap and translating strategic themes into defined, executable features.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Help monitor initiative progress by tracking activities, documenting issues and resolutions as part of the task’s owner.

Analysis

  • Performance Monitoring: Support daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current development and operational processes.
  • Cost & Resource Modeling: Help validate resource requirements and contribute to cost estimate models for proposed FinTech initiatives and feature development.

You

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: No prior work experience is required but exposure to actual business analysis, product, technology, or the FinTech/payments space (through coursework, academic projects, or previous internships) is a plus.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive, with strong critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Excellent documentation, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong research and writing ability, with an interest in publishing clear, well-structured summary and findings.
