Job Description
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Create well-structured project plans and prioritize tasks effectively to deliver projects in a high-quality and timely manner. Assist in the development of processes and programs to drive the operational efficiency. Identify, define, and track metrics to ensure progress against business objectives.
- Conduct strategic assessments to address opportunity areas. Help evaluate a range of solutions, assess benefits and challenges, and recommend a way forward.
- Identify areas of improvement to drive the business forward, helping to evaluate and expand process improvements across the business.
- Build relationships and partner across teams effectively to develop business solutions. Help identify relevant stakeholders, understand their key priorities, and advocate/challenge them to achieve better outcomes.
- Develop hypotheses against opportunity areas or problem statements and test them with quantitative and qualitative analysis. Extract findings into insights that power the business.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in business strategy, sales operations, management consulting, or a related field.
- Experience analysing information to draw conclusions, generate solutions, and develop plans of action.
- Experience leading project components and managing timelines, goals, and objectives.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to manage complex operational projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to evaluate a wide range of ambiguous problems using critical thinking to identify root causes and generate solutions.
- Ability to communicate policies, ideas, and information verbally or in writing, adapting the style depending on the audience and situation.
- Ability to grow and exercise judgement in a fluid, ambiguous environment.
