In this role, you will help us shape a more connected and productive future for all Google employees. You will have a keen interest in developing large-scale agentic systems and possess technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) systems and Agentic solutions in the HR domain. Drive engineering excellence for the AI Garage team.
- Provide technical leadership in regards to immediate and complex technical problems to leads of associated teams.
- Influence and design and build scalable Agentic systems in HR domain.
- Collaborate with AI Garage Leads (e.g., Engineering Managers, Product Managers and AI strategist) and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Agentic and AIML engineering.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with Generative AI, Generative AI Agent, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Model.
- Experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, or Google’s Agent Development Kit (ADK)) and patterns like ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) or Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and reasoning.
- Experience in designing algorithms that programmatically truncate, summarize, or extract semantic milestones from a running conversation log.
- Experience in track agent trajectories and implement Large Language Model (e.g., Phoenix, LangSmith). Experience in Safety and Compliance like Prompt injection mitigation, sandboxed code execution etc
- Experience in ReAct, Tree of Thoughts and Plan-and-Solve loops, Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs).
- Experience in Bias-Variance tradeoff, Overfitting versus Underfitting, practical techniques to fix
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable AI solutions and rolling out AI and agentic solutions for Global Enterprises.
