Director, Event Partnerships
Job Description
At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
About the Role
The Director, Event Partnerships (Sponsorship) will own the development and execution of Snowflake's exhibitorship sales and partner engagement strategy, leading a high-performing team to deliver world-class partner event experiences that drive awareness, pipeline impact and community engagement. This includes partner sponsorships, activations and programs at the following key Snowflake-led flagship events: Snowflake Summit, Snowflake World Tours, and the Data for Breakfast series.
What You'll Do
Own Regional & Global Event Strategy: Lead end-to-end partner experiences, sponsorships, and logistics for flagship regional and global events across NOAM and LATAM as well as set guidelines for international counterparts. Oversee engagement for major annual programs (averaging 500+ partners per year), partner executive activations, and hospitality/ancillary events.
Drive Prospectus, Revenue & Sales Operations: Design, price, and launch annual Partner Sponsorship Packages and Promotional Opportunity prospectuses. Partner with finance and leadership to set revenue targets, manage forecasting, handle custom requests, and scale recurring annual partnership revenue. Understand – and report on – buyer journey, industry trends, white space sales opportunities, and build long-range pipeline projection plans.
Maximize Partner Enablement & ROI: Host internal and external executive councils to gather feedback for continuous program optimization.
Establish Global Standards & Legal Frameworks: Develop global project timelines, standardized guidelines, workflows, and enablement kits to ensure a consistent partner experience. Collaborate with legal teams to establish rules, regulations, and T&Cs for each event cycle.
Lead Teams & Agency Partners: Direct a cross-functional internal workflow team managing contracting, invoicing, and platform operations. Serve as the primary manager for tier-one external event production agencies, onboarding and leading extended agency teams.
Optimize Through Data & Collaboration: Partner across global marketing and regional sales teams to align on priorities and cross-functional deadlines. Produce comprehensive post-event recap decks, financial reporting, and KPI analytics for stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
12+ years of experience in B2B corporate sponsorship events, with 3+ years in senior leadership roles managing large-scale partner programs, sponsorship revenue, and high-performing teams.
Proven revenue generator with experience designing sponsorship prospectuses, managing complex sales operations, and establishing multi-year financial targets within the enterprise technology or SaaS space.
Exemplary operational leader capable of managing massive logistical footprints, complex budgets, and large external agency teams (e.g., managing 15+ agency reps).
A natural connector and collaborator who seamlessly brings constituents from across departments and global organizations together to move towards a common set of goals.
A visionary with a problem-solving mindset who has the ability to scale processes globally while maintaining a premium partner experience.
