Senior Plant Engineer (Electrical and Instrumentation)

📍 Work Location: Jurong Island | Company transport provided 🕘Work Hour: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM 💰 Salary: Basic up to $5,000 per month Job Description

• Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system optimisation to keep plant operations running smoothly

• Lead installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical and instrumentation equipment

• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues to reduce downtime and improve plant reliability

• Carry out root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions

• Manage engineering projects from planning to completion, ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget

• Support preventive maintenance programmes and equipment reliability initiatives

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations

• Liaise with headquarters technical teams on equipment performance and process improvements

• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to engineers and technicians

• Work with external contractors and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience

• Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and electrical and instrumentation systems

• Experience in equipment installation, commissioning, and process modifications in a manufacturing or process plant environment

• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and reliability engineering practices
