Software Engineer (Frontend)

Company Summary Julian Grey’s client is a global technology solutions provider supporting enterprise digital transformation, cloud platforms, and secure software delivery. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to translate requirements into reliable frontend solutions.

• Build reusable UI components and enforce frontend best practices for scalability, maintainability, accessibility, and performance.

• Develop user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, frontend libraries, and component-based architecture.

• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, authentication, and backend services.

• Improve software quality through code reviews, unit testing, pair programming, TDD, and continuous refactoring.

• Support build, deployment, release automation, Git workflows, and CI/CD processes for frontend applications.

• Ensure frontend applications meet security, performance, reliability, documentation, and software craftsmanship standards.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, with at least 7 years of relevant frontend or software engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Svelte, or Angular.

• Experience with state management, UI component libraries, CSS methodologies, frontend build tools,and Git workflows.

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.

• Good understanding of frontend testing, web performance optimization, Agile delivery, CI/CD, and secure coding practices such as XSS and CSRF prevention.

• Exposure to cloud platforms, mobile development, SSR/SSG, headless CMS, Web Assembly, Storybook, or frontend testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library will be advantageous.
