Solution Architect

Company Summary Julian Grey’s client is a global technology solutions provider supporting enterprise digital transformation, cloud platforms, and secure software delivery. Responsibilities

• Drive the comprehensive system architecture, ensuring all micro-level designs and development efforts seamlessly map back to enterprise blueprint standards.

• Convert complex business objectives, technical constraints, and high-availability needs into definitive architectural specifications.

• Evaluate and advocate for optimal software products, frameworks, and tools that match both organizational standards and long-term technical roadmaps.

• Establish, govern, and iteratively improve multi-tier architectural blueprints covering business workflows, data modelling, and core IT infrastructure.

• Conduct code quality reviews, evaluate technical designs, and validate proposed solutions throughout the engineering lifecycle.

• Bridge communication gaps between business leaders, engineering teams, security officers, and external system partners to eliminate integration bottlenecks and architectural dependencies.

• Guide high-level system design, proof-of-concept prototyping, performance engineering, and legacy application modernization strategies.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for enterprise content management systems, complex digital commerce workflows, and multi-channel system integrations.

Requirements

• Academic qualification in any field, backed by a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, or systems engineering.

• Advanced proficiency in macro-system design, performance optimization, prototyping frameworks, and application lifecycle maintenance.

• Deep, hands-on engineering background in enterprise ecosystems, with solid experience developing server-side applications in modern .NET or Java environments.

• Practical mastery of distributed system patterns, including service-oriented architecture (SOA),microservices, high-traffic public web platforms, transactional data modelling, and relational databases.

• Proven capability to assess emergent technologies, with specific expertise in cloud migrations, legacy decoupling, and modern public sector digital architectures.

• Strong familiarity with enterprise-grade CMS platforms, headless commerce solutions, CRM integrations, data analytics, and automated marketing tools.
