Cloud Engineer (AMK)

You will be working on planning, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure as a cloud engineer. You will be an important part of the team that designs and implements highly reliable, secure, and scalable cloud-based systems for our client. Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions based on business requirements.

• Implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and orchestration of cloud resources.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and repeatability of cloud deployments.

• Implement security best practices to safeguard cloud infrastructure, data, and applications.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cloud services.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.

• Implement scaling strategies to handle varying workloads efficiently.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide cloud solutions accordingly.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role in designing and managing cloud infrastructure.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and storage concepts.

• Experience with automation tools like Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• 5 day week @ AMK area (Travel to site whenever required)
