The Engagement
We are reimagining the future of Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) — how it looks, how it works, and how it feels to customers and frontline officers alike. You'll embed with the Customer eXperience Department (CXD), working alongside a UX Researcher and Service Designer to shape the interfaces and visual experience of the future EPSC.
What You'll Deliver
- Translate service concepts and user insights into intuitive interface designs and interactive prototypes
- Design customer and officer-facing touchpoints that are clear, usable, and aligned with the future EPSC vision
- Produce visual artefacts that communicate future-state experiences compellingly to stakeholders
- Contribute to broader visioning work through design assets that make abstract concepts tangible
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in UX/UI design, interaction design, or a closely related discipline
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma or equivalent)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design practice across digital or service touchpoints
- Ability to work from research inputs and service concepts — not just visual briefs
- Experience designing for physical or hybrid service environments is a plus
- Government or public sector experience advantageous
Capability Building (Advantageous)
We aim to grow its officers' service design capabilities through this project. Candidates with experience in the following will be viewed favourably:
- Training — upskilling public sector officers in design methods and tools
- Mentoring — hands-on coaching through workshop design and facilitation
- Documentation — producing reusable frameworks, templates, and best practice guides (including spatial design)
- Skills transfer — building officer capability in service design principles, journey mapping, and stakeholder engagement alongside project delivery
