Senior TEST SPECIALIST

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Test Specialist to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in automation testing and/or in manual testing, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.

• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing.

• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies.

• Validate fixes and perform regression testing before production releases.

• Support automation testing initiatives using appropriate automation frameworks and tools.

• Execute API, database, and performance testing where required.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.

• Prepare test execution reports and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.

• Continuously improve testing processes and recommend quality enhancements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• 12+ years of experience in Automation /Manual testing methodologies.

• Experience in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, etc.).

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.

• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

• ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification is preferred.

• Experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is desirable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
