Smartcard Operations Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for an entry-level IT Operations Engineer (L1) to support physical access control and identity management operations. This role focuses on executing day-to-day operational tasks including smart card lifecycle management, user access provisioning, SAP account administration, and batch job monitoring. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adherence to processes, and the ability to maintain accurate operational records in a controlled, audit-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Operational Support to smart card services including:

• Card Lifecycle operations (issuance, replacement, quality control)

• Photo and Document scanning

• Card Printing and electrical personalization

• Security Controls , operating procedures and staff training

Smart Card Door Access Operations

• Support the door access batch jobs and system operations

• Troubleshooting access failures and batch processing errors

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of IT operations and access management concepts

• Familiarity with user account management (SAP or similar systems)

• Knowledge of ITSM tools and ticketing systems

• Understanding of access control principles and governance basics

• Good attention to detail and data accuracy

• Strong communication and coordination skills
