Job Description

## About the position

As the Lead Engineer of the R&D team for our product “Spacely,” you will be responsible for the technical validation and prototyping of new features that leverage panoramic images and 3D-reconstructed spatial data. You will collaborate with other team members on implementation while providing leadership to the team.

Depending on your career aspirations and interests, this position also has the potential to evolve into a CTO candidacy.

Your work will deliver value to over 15,000 users, ranging from industry-leading real estate firms to small and mid-sized businesses. This role also offers a clear path for career advancement, with the potential to take on broader responsibilities and high-impact missions that extend beyond the team, influencing the entire engineering organization and company alongside the CTO.

### Responsibilities

  • Developing new features for the 3D player that displays reconstructed spaces, such as virtual furniture placement

  • Discussions with management and the development team regarding R&D direction.
  • Team management responsibilities, including one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations
  • Since the team currently has only one member, the role will initially be heavily hands-on. Your focus is expected to shift toward a higher ratio of management as the team grows.

### Requirements

  • Experience in image processing or image recognition development
  • Experience or strong interest in 3DCG or machine learning development
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience developing 3DCG software using tools such as Unity
  • Experience in web front-end development using WebGL libraries such as Three.js
  • Experience in web service development (any language)

  • Experience working in a startup environment

### Compensation
