Application Developer

Job Summary You will design, develop, and maintain Java backend systems, leveraging expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, and microservices architecture. You will integrate APIs using MuleSoft, implement authentication with Okta, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS to deliver scalable, secure solutions. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x to deliver robust and scalable services

• Design, build, and support microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs to enable seamless system integrations

• Implement authentication and authorization workflows using Okta to ensure secure access control

• Integrate APIs and services using MuleSoft to streamline data flow and connectivity across platforms

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services including ECS, EC2, and RDS to ensure high availability and performance

• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate and standardize cloud infrastructure provisioning

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, AWS Code Commit, and Code Pipeline to accelerate software delivery

• Write and optimize SQL queries for Oracle and other relational databases to support application data needs

• Monitor system health and performance using Grafana and AWS CloudWatch to proactively address issues

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java backend development

• 3+ years of experience with Okta for authentication/authorization

• 3+ years of experience with MuleSoft for API integration
