Procurement Engineer

Job Description & Requirements Purpose of the Role:

• Protect the organization from legal and operational risk by ensuring all contracts, vendor relationships, and renewals comply with company policies and legal standards.

• Maintain business continuity by proactively managing contract lifecycles, software licenses, and personnel documentation to prevent service disruptions and compliance gaps

Role Attributes:

• Detail-oriented and compliance-focused – requires meticulous attention to contractual terms, deadlines, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and systematic tracking.

• Cross-functional coordination role – serves as a central liaison between legal, vendors, HR systems, and internal stakeholders, requiring strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple relationships simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts to verify compliance with company policies and legal standards, mitigating organizational risk.

• Facilitate communication between the legal department and vendors to resolve contract-related issues promptly.

• Update and maintain personnel records accurately within the Darwin Box HRIS system to ensure data integrity.

• Oversee mandatory learning programs by tracking completion status and enforcing compliance deadlines.

• Manage the renewal and tracking process for personnel documentation to maintain up-to-date records.

• Track software license renewals and ensure all licenses remain current to avoid service interruptions.

• Maintain comprehensive records of contracts and software renewals and generate regular status reports for stakeholders.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with contract management and vendor liaison.

• Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Darwin Box.
