System Engineer (Microsoft Exchange & Windows Server)

Job Description ·      We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to manage and support our Microsoft Exchange Server and Windows Server environments. ·      You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of enterprise messaging systems while providing technical support and collaborating on infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities ·      Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server (2016/2019/2022 or later). ·      Manage Windows Server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades. ·      Perform system monitoring, maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery activities. ·      Troubleshoot and resolve Exchange, Windows Server, and Active Directory issues. ·      Administer Active Directory users, groups, permissions, and security policies. ·      Monitor system performance and implement optimization and security best practices. ·      Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation. ·      Document system configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes. ·      Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, and end-user technical issues. Required Skills & Qualifications ·      (Proven experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server (2016, 2019, 2022, or later) ·      Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration and infrastructure management ·      Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration ·       Proficiency in troubleshooting Exchange and Windows Server environments ·      Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions ·       Knowledge of email system architecture and messaging protocols ·      Experience with PowerShell scripting for system administration ·      Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills ·      Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team ·      Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Hybrid Exchange Knowledge of Hyper-V or VMware virtualization ITIL certification or IT Service ·      Management experience Microsoft Windows Server or Exchange certifications ·      Experience with enterprise monitoring tools ·      Understanding of networking and infrastructure security principles Experience 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Exchange and Windows Server Administration. ·      Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and production environments. ·      Microsoft Exchange Server Windows Server Active Directory PowerShell Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online Backup & Disaster Recovery Infrastructure Support System Monitoring Server Security
