Senior Network Engineer (Up to $7000)

About the Company

Our client is a major engineering and technology group delivering critical IT and network infrastructure services, hiring for 24x7 customer network support.

Role & Responsibilities

(This is a contract position.)

Hands-on role maintaining customer network infrastructure across routing, switching, security, and wireless systems in a 24x7 environment, with direct customer, vendor, and internal team exposure. Includes standby/on-call rotation and occasional overseas travel.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents
• Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless devices
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Implement security patches and vulnerability remediation
• Monitor performance and recommend improvements
• Prepare RCA and incident reports
• Support 24x7 standby/on-call rotation

Requirements

• Min 4 years in network support or operations
• Hands-on troubleshooting and incident management
• Strong grasp of routing, switching, firewalls, wireless, load balancing
• Experience with Cisco, Alcatel, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Check Point
• Familiarity with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Willing to work standby rotations and travel overseas (Malaysia)
• Bonus: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent; NAC and load balancing; OT environment exposure
