AWS Cloud Engineer

COMPANY OVERVIEW

The client is a niche Singapore-based technology company that helps organizations turn vehicle and driving data into actionable insights, with a strong focus on mobility, safety, and risk analytics.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and architecture.

·        Optimize cloud environments for security, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

·        Develop and manage database schemas while improving complex SQL query performance.

·        Build and automate workflows using AWS Step Functions.

·        Establish and enforce cloud security best practices and architectural standards.

·        Develop APIs and SDKs to support secure integration with external partners and clients.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud-based solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·        Strong proficiency in Python programming.

·        2 to 3 years of proven experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS.

·        Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and advanced SQL queries.

·        Knowledge of AWS cloud principles and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

·        Experience with AWS security services, Git, and GitLab.

·        AWS certifications are advantageous.

·        Exposure to AI/ML technologies and their integration into applications is a plus.

·        Experience developing dashboards, internal tools, or data visualization platforms is preferred.

·        Understanding of data analytics and machine learning concepts is beneficial.
