Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate hardware management to internal runbook application using Redfish API for inventory, RBAC, health check and orchestration of firmware patching
  • Integrate 3rd party system to runbook to improve efficiency for system administrator
  • Build tools and APIs that automate operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, maintenance activities, and incident response workflows
  • Resolve compliance related issues including code upgrade, hardening, patching and performing regression
  • Develop monitoring, logging, and reporting capabilities to enhance operational visibility and support decision-making.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices for both Python/javascript/HTML
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Collaborate with other developers and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in Scripting / Web development using framework (E.g. Spring Boot/ Django/ Laravel)
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Experience with database technologies, querying and normalization (e.g., MariaDB, MySQL).
  • Proficiency in Python programming
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to Linux systems and familiarity to commands
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with access policies, building authentication / authorization into APIs, engineering user access management
  • Software testing – Automated unit testing, integration testing, automating generation of test artefacts
