Senior/Staff/Principal Software Engineer (Fully remote role in SG)

I am currently working with a publicly-listed global e-commerce company. Salary budget wide open!!! Company will offer competitive package. Remote role in Singapore. about job (multiple openings for Senior, Staff and Principal level) • Architect and scale mission-critical backend systems and distributed cloud services to support high-volume global traffic. • Define long-term technical strategy and system architecture for core platform domains • Take end-to-end ownership of the engineering lifecycle • Drive engineering excellence across teams by conducting architecture reviews & setting coding standards • Optimize system reliability and performance by proactively troubleshooting complex production issues and scaling data infrastructure • Leverage cutting-edge AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate software delivery cycles and enhance overall development efficiency

skills and requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science • Min 7 years of experience, with a proven track record in large-scale internet or e-commerce environments • Deep expertise in architecting cloud-native solutions on AWS, including containerized environments utilizing ECS or Kubernetes. (open to Azure or GCP) • Extensive experience working with data stores, caching, and streaming platforms such as MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch • Highly proficient in any backend development such as NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Java, or Python • Familiarity or direct experience using AI-native development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code to optimize productivity
