Finance Manager (Marine)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis. • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions. • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, GST, and corporate regulatory requirements. • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, insurers, and government authorities. • Manage vessel/project costing, operational expenditures, and financial performance reporting. • Review contracts and advise management on financial risks and commercial implications. • Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and process improvements. • Lead and mentor the finance team while supporting business expansion initiatives. • Prepare management reports and present financial insights to senior management.
