Job Summary We are looking for a highly capable and versatile Operations Manager to take full end-to-end ownership of the Card Product team’s operations. You will ensure smooth issuance, transaction processing, customer experience, compliance, and scalability of both virtual and physical cards, especially as we expand globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of virtual and physical card operations, including issuance, activation, management, re-issuance, cancellation, and upgrades.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current operations, design and implement scalable processes and automated workflows to improve key operational metrics (such as approval time, success rate, cost per card, and dispute resolution time).
- Product-Driven Requirements: Regularly collect and deeply analyze user feedback, operational pain points, and market trends, then translate them into concrete product optimization suggestions or detailed PRD documents.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with global payment regulations, KYC/AML requirements, Visa/Mastercard card scheme rules, and internal policies. Manage fraud monitoring and chargeback/dispute handling processes.
- Customer Experience: Drive operational excellence to deliver best-in-class user experience. Handle escalation cases, analyze customer feedback, and continuously improve service quality.
- Data & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators, prepare regular reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights to support product decisions and business growth.
- Project Management: Lead or support operations-related projects, such as new market expansion, card product feature upgrades, or system migrations.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant operations experience. Experience in fintech, payments, card issuance, or e-wallet industries is strongly preferred. Prior experience with Visa/Mastercard projects is a plus.
- Product Design Experience: Strong product mindset with the ability to independently write business requirements documents (BRD/PRD). Candidates with basic prototyping skills (Figma) are preferred.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing small teams and delivering results.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of stablecoins and cryptocurrency payments is a strong plus.
- Language: Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
- Personal Qualities: Strong hands-on capability, high attention to detail, proactive, resilient, and customer-focused. Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
