Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager (Media/ Advertising)

Our client, a well-established digital agency with a regional presence, is hiring a Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager for its Singapore office. This is a number-one finance role with full ownership of the function, reporting directly to senior leadership and founder directly.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full finance function including full set of accounts, intercompany billing, and monthly group consolidation across regional entities

• Own cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and financing lines in a business where payables run ahead of client collections; manage client credit terms and collections discipline

• Oversee AP including vendor payment scheduling, and AR/client billing supported by an offshore billing resource

• Manage GST and regional statutory filings with external CPA firms, coordinate corporate tax and lead the annual audit end-to-end

• Run monthly payroll including CPF submissions, sales commission calculations, and expense claims

• Manage banking relationships, account mandates, and payment platforms

• Supervise junior finance support and coordinate offshore resources

• Partner with leadership on automating payroll, reconciliation, and reporting workflows as the business adopts AI-assisted finance tooling

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years personally owning a finance function end-to-end (individual contributor or controller level) in an SME or agency environment

• Hands-on experience managing cash flow forecasting, credit terms, and collections. Candidate with exposure to financing facilities is an advantage

• Multi-entity or multi-currency consolidation experience strongly preferred, audit firm training (Big 4 or mid-tier) an advantage

• Media agency, advertising, or adjacent industry experience is a strong plus, candidates from lean SME environments will transition best

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online or a comparable cloud accounting platform, with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills

• High discretion handling sensitive commercial and compensation matters, interest in AI-assisted finance tooling welcome
