Senior Testing Engineer

Key Deliverables for the Role

• Develop, document, and execute test cases to evaluate system performance, including load, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.

• Conduct non-functional testing using both manual methods and automation tools to ensure compliance with defined performance benchmarks and quality standards.

• Assess test results and produce comprehensive reports outlining system performance, stability, and areas for improvement.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience in non-functional testing across REST APIs, IBM MQ, and GUI applications, including performance, load, and resiliency/failover testing.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python for test execution, automation, and metrics collection.

• Strong experience working in UNIX/Linux environments is essential.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

• Strong analytical mindset with solid problem-solving capabilities.

• Understanding of financial markets products such as Indices, Equities, Commodities, FX, and Fixed Income is an added advantage.
