Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical test structures, kerf layouts, and scribe-line test vehicles for wafer process monitoring.
  • Perform electrical characterization, including DC/AC parametric testing and RF measurements using automated wafer probe stations.
  • Develop, integrate, and optimize automated electrical test hardware and equipment, including Source Measure Units (SMUs), oscilloscopes, and network analyzers.
  • Analyze electrical test data to identify process variations, improve product yield, and enhance device performance.
  • Support failure analysis by investigating electrical defects such as shorts, opens, and leakage issues.
  • Collaborate with Process Integration, Product Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to achieve product and manufacturing goals.
  • Prepare and submit Bills of Materials (BOM) for development projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor electrical testing, wafer characterization, or device engineering.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, including MOSFETs, diodes, passive devices, leakage mechanisms, threshold voltage, and reliability concepts (HCI, BTI).
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor test equipment such as Keysight, Keithley, or equivalent parametric testers and wafer probing systems.
  • Experience with PCB layout and design tools such as Altium Designer, PADS, Cadence Virtuoso, KLayout, or similar software.
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and wafer sort testing is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, or Spotfire is preferred.
