AI Systems Engineer, Intelligent Platforms

NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at NCS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining IT infrastructure while supporting the integration of AI-powered systems. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal system performance, security, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services

• Develop and implement system configurations, procedures, and documentation

• Support the deployment and integration of AI-powered systems and tools within existing IT infrastructure

• Monitor and maintain system performance, security, and availability

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues

• Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and backups

• Implement and manage security measures to protect systems, data, and networks

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and changes

• Generate reports on system performance, issues, and improvements

• Document AI system configurations, performance metrics, and integration points

• Provide technical support and training to end-users

• Address and resolve client inquiries and issues promptly

Requirements & Qualifications

• Preferably Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or IT infrastructure management

• Experience with server administration in Windows Server and/or Linux environments

• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is preferred

• Exposure to AI system deployment or integration is an added advantage

• Proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting hardware and software platforms, with emphasis on Microsoft environments

• Good understanding of Active Directory (AD) policy management

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Visual Basic, or batch files

• Experience with system deployment tools (e.g., SCCM) and patch management

• Knowledge of operating system security, encryption, and vulnerability management

• Understanding of network protocols, storage solutions, and backup strategies
