Application Programmer (Temenos Wealth Suite, Banking or Financial, Production support, ODATA, Control-M)

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support for Temenos Wealth Suite platforms within Private Banking and Wealth Management environments.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents to ensure high system availability and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

• Support business-critical investment workflows, including order management, portfolio management, and wealth management applications.

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.

• Monitor and manage batch processing activities using enterprise scheduling tools to ensure successful completion of daily and periodic jobs.

• Support change, release, and deployment activities while minimizing impact on production environments.

• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution to ensure business continuity.

• Work closely with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve complex technical issues and deliver system enhancements.

• Develop and maintain integrations between banking applications and third-party systems using REST/OData services and middleware technologies.

• Customize and support Temenos Wealth Suite components, including user interfaces, workflows, data formats, and integration services based on business requirements.

• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and support documentation for ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

• Assist with system configuration, user access management, and application support activities while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance application performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 7+ years of experience in application development and production support.

• Experience in Banking or financial services industry preffered.

• Strong hands-on experience with Temenos Wealth Suite, including TAP, Triple A Plus, UXP, and T24.

• Experience supporting Private Banking or Wealth Management applications.

• Experience 24/7 support in Production support, incident management.

• Hands on experience in OData services, REST APIs, Integration Framework, and middleware technologies.

• Experience with UNIX/Linux environments, Shell scripting, and SQL for troubleshooting and system support.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise batch scheduling and monitoring tools such as Control-M.

• Experience in monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk or Geneos.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and enterprise application deployment concepts is an advantage.

• Experience in incident management, change management, release management, and disaster recovery processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effective root cause analysis.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.

• Relevant Temenos certifications or banking technology certifications will be an added advantage.
