Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud, Devops, AWS, Azure, Lambda, IAM, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure across enterprise environments.

• Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery while ensuring quality and reliability.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker platforms.

• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to streamline application deployment and operational processes.

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, implementing proactive measures to ensure high service uptime.

• Manage cloud networking, identity and access management, security policies, and compliance requirements.

• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring minimal business disruption and adherence to best practices.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent solutions.

• Develop automation scripts and operational tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to enhance observability across production environments.

• Participate in release planning, change management, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.

• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and architecture diagrams to support ongoing operations.

• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.

• Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to enhance platform performance and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.

• Hand on experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, Lambda, IAM, EKS, RDS.

• Hands on experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent automation tools).

• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience in containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience administering Linux-based production environments and cloud networking components.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, or similar platforms.

• Good understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, secrets management, and compliance standards.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Shell Scripting, Java etc.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve production issues efficiently.

• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or related technologies preferred.
