Infrastructure Ansible Automation Engineer _Contract

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). The role will focus on automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, remediation, and self-healing workflows while supporting Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible Playbooks, Roles, Collections, and Inventories to automate infrastructure and application operations.

• Manage and enhance Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including job templates, workflows, and execution environments.

• Build automated runbooks and self-healing solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.

• Integrate automation into GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines and apply Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, Cloud, and Cybersecurity teams to identify automation opportunities and reduce operational toil.

• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and runbooks while promoting automation and SRE best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Playbook development, including roles, collections, and inventories.

• Experience with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Basic understanding of Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation / RHCE

• GitHub Actions or CI/CD Certification

• SRE Foundation / Practitioner

• ITIL v4 Foundation
