Senior Finance Manager (Finance Transformation & Controllership) An established organisation is seeking a commercially minded finance leader to support its finance transformation journey while strengthening financial governance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to lead transformation initiatives, enhance finance operations, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive sustainable organisational performance. Some of the key responsibilities will include: • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation, process redesign, and the optimisation of finance and procurement workflows to improve reporting, operational efficiency, and decision-making capabilities. • Drive change management initiatives by overseeing system implementation, user adoption, testing, and successful delivery of finance transformation projects while managing external implementation partners and consultants. • Oversee treasury activities, liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and investment reporting, while supporting investment governance and maintaining strong relationships with external financial partners. • Lead the financial reporting and controllership function, ensuring timely financial close, accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective governance across the organisation. • Strengthen internal controls, financial governance frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance while supporting statutory reporting, external audits, and corporate governance requirements. • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, ensuring efficient financial processes, robust controls, and high-quality financial support across the organisation during ongoing transformation initiatives. • Partner with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, performance monitoring, and resource planning while providing meaningful financial insights to support strategic decision-making. • Drive continuous improvement across finance operations by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen reporting capabilities, and improve organisational effectiveness through technology and best practices. To be eligible for this role you will require: • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CA, CPA or ACCA considered advantageous. • At least 10- 15 years of progressive finance experience with strong exposure to financial reporting, controllership, finance operations, and finance transformation within a complex organisation. • Demonstrated experience leading ERP implementation or finance transformation projects, with exposure to Oracle NetSuite or similar enterprise systems considered highly advantageous. • Strong knowledge of financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, audit, internal controls, treasury, and risk management, with the ability to balance operational excellence and strategic initiatives. • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with experience partnering across multiple business functions and managing external service providers. • A proactive and commercially focused mindset with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to lead change, influence stakeholders, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
