Job Description
gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.
As a Product Deployment Engineer, you will be a key advisor to Google’s customers and serve as the definitive regional service authority for a specific product area. You are the strategic bridge between what a customer wants and what gTech Ads has to offer within a specific product area, whether via the standing menu of service or our gTech Ads engineering capabilities. You will have strong customer engagement skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable product strategies. You will develop high quality technical-product specifications that address complex business issues.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Manage the execution of design systems to support a code-first, AI-assisted future.
- Architect and maintain multi-platform token pipelines aligned with W3C standards to transform design decisions into consumable code variables.
- Design guidelines, prompt recipes, and system metadata that supply AI agents with the necessary skills and context to author compliant code.
- Build a zero-doc framework where system documentation, rules, and established practices are parsed, updated, and generated by agents reading live component code.
- Author and maintain high-fidelity React components and CSS, ensuring production components mirror design craftsmanship and brand intent.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience building design systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building or maintaining custom token pipelines using W3C standards and Figma API integrations.
- Experience with CSS (including container queries, layers, and variables) and React.
- Expertise with Figma and its API or plugin ecosystem.
- Passion for AI-assisted development and the intersection of design and development.
