Cloud Engineer (Database Infrastructure & Automation)24/7 & Weekend support_Contract

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with strong Database Administration (DBA) expertise to design, implement, and support cloud-based database infrastructure across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, database administration, automation, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based database platforms across Azure and AWS environments.

• Administer and optimize Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases in hybrid and cloud infrastructures.

• Implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and security solutions.

• Automate database and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Monitor database and cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous optimization.

• Support cloud migration, modernization, and containerization initiatives using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.

• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Database Administration and Infrastructure Operations.

• Strong expertise in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, Azure SQL, and AWS RDS.

• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, PowerShell, and Python.

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of HA/DR solutions including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, SQL Always On, and Failover Clustering.

• Strong understanding of database security, encryption, auditing, and performance tuning.
