Information Security Engineer
Job Description
ROLE: Information Security (Security Engineer) Responsibilities Security Measures Implementation and Performance Tracking o Develop and implement effective security measures to protect company data and network infrastructure. o Regularly track and report on the performance of these security measures. Security Measures Implementation and Tracking o Support the implementation of security measures to protect company data and network infrastructure. o Assist in tracking and reporting the effectiveness of these security controls. Cybersecurity Architecture and Strategy Support o Maintain working knowledge of Singlife’s cybersecurity architecture. o Support the execution and enhancement of security strategies aligned with organizational objectives and industry practices. System Security Requirements o Assist in identifying, documenting, and maintaining system security requirements. o Support preparation of technical documentation and provide input on security solutions. Security Infrastructure Operations o Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain security infrastructure (hardware and software). o Support monitoring tools used to detect security breaches and intrusions. Monitoring and Preventive Controls o Monitor systems for suspicious activities and anomalies. o Assist in implementing preventive controls to reduce security risks. Staff Awareness and Training o Support security awareness initiatives and training programs. o Promote adherence to information security policies and best practices. Project Support and Delivery o Assist in tracking project activities and deliverables. o Ensure assigned tasks and milestones are completed on time. Security Tools and Technologies o Hands-on experience supporting security solutions such as: Email Security IDPS Attack Surface Monitoring Anti-Malware Web Application Firewall Certificate Management Systems (CMS) AI Security Operations o Support operational management and improvement of these tools. o AI / ML Security Support o Assist in implementing security controls for AI/ML systems, including: o Data protection and training environments o Model deployment and inference endpoints o Support identification and mitigation of AI-related risks such as adversarial attacks and data poisoning. Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Support o Support PQC readiness initiatives within the organization. o Assist in tracking developments in quantum-resistant cryptographic standards. o Work with teams to support crypto-agility and assess impacts on: o TLS certificates o Digital signatures o Contribute to migration planning for hybrid cryptographic solutions. Requirements Experience Preferable to have 3+ years of relevant experience Knowledge in managing security solution stated above. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and solutions. Effective communication and analytical abilities. Ability to analyze complex security systems and identify vulnerabilities and solution. Expertise in computer programming and scripting languages. Education Academic: Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology(preferred) Professional Certification(s): CISSP, or any related vendor certification (preferred)
