HSE SENIOR COORDINATOR (DATA CENTRE, PHARMACEUTICAL, SEMICONDUCTOR) URGENT!

The Senior Coordinator – HSE supports the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) practices across project sites. The role advises project management on HSE matters, promotes compliance with applicable safety legislation and company policies, and assists in implementing the project HSE Management System to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the conduct of daily toolbox meetings and risk-impact assessment briefings.

• Conduct inspections and assessments of work areas under the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and provide recommendations to supervisors or PTW applicants before work begins.

• Monitor compliance with approved risk-impact assessments and safe work procedures.

• Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

• Assist in the preparation of incident investigation reports and related documentation.

• Participate as a member of the HSE Committee.

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the project HSE Management System.

• Advise project management on HSE implementation and regulatory compliance.

• Promote a positive safety culture through coaching, monitoring, and communication with project personnel.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (or equivalent).

• Additional professional HSE certifications or training are an advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations and best practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work systems and risk assessment processes.

• Strong incident investigation and reporting skills.
